Before my fitting with Tyler, I rode the bike once and made a few minor adjustments on my own. After Tyler completed the fit, the bike was completely transformed. I rode later that same day, and the difference between my first ride and my post-fit ride was remarkable. The bike felt more comfortable, efficient, and confidence-inspiring in every way.

Most comprehensive fit I have ever had! As a newer (and shorter) mtn biker, I just wasn’t feeling comfortable on my Pivot, despite having one fit elsewhere. I knew I needed to make some changes and upgrades. Heard that Tyler was THE guy to go for a mtn bike fit and that was 100% accurate. In addition to all measurements, he checked my flexibility, mobility and asked a lot of questions about how I ride and my goals. He spent a lot of time explaining, testing different saddles and adjustments and checking in with me every step of the way on my comfort. New insoles, grips, dropper, saddle, shortened bars and cockpit adjustments. It feels like a new bike! Everything feels more compact and in control where it felt clunky and awkward before. I have way more power climbing and knee pain solved! I finally feel at one with this bike and it’s already gaining me HUGE confidence on the trails. Highly recommend regardless of your level. I’ll be bringing my road bike in next. Staff at Guru were friendly, the shop is super well stocked. Goodest shop doggos too!

I took my gravel bike in for a fitting and had a great experience with Tyler. He checked my mobility and made sure the adjustments were based on my specific needs. After my fit, my bike was significantly more comfortable to ride. Tyler encourages you to bring your bike back for any micro adjustments needed after your fit. All around excellent service!

Tyler does an amazing bike fit. I used the Retul software. Fit, ride a week or so, Fit and then saw 8 of my best power numbers of all time. Very happy with the results!

I was looking for a bike fit for my new agro gravel rig and Tyler came highly recommended from the Head Coach of OVMTB.

The process was really efficient.

1. Call to schedule and discuss my bike, setup, style of riding etc.

2. Initial fit session.

3. Final tune fit session.

Tyler is truly an expert at what he does. I was looking for something relatively niche based on my gravel bike set up and my style of riding, which is a hybrid of XC and aggressive gravel. Fortunately, Tyler has both personal experience with this riding style as well as the actually fitting of riders looking to push the limits in gravel. We collaborated to dial in the fit and the right components, e.g. stem, saddle, fork, dropper.

Next up is getting both of my kids a fit for the upcoming Arizona Cycling Association season (as they continue to grow... and need updated bike fitting).

I had a bike fit done on my gravel bike by Tyler last week. It made a huge difference! I was able to push more power comfortably all day. He is very knowledgeable and gave me a few things to work on. I will definitely be taking my other bikes in for adjustments.

I have also recently come in for some adjustments on my road bike and I’m a lot more comfortable and can hold a higher power which was super helpful at US pro road nationals.

Guru was recommended to me for mountain bike fitting to alleviate neck pain and hand numbness. The bike fitter Tyler Vandruff was amazing! My riding position was analyzed from all 4 sides during the process. The seat was raised, handlebars cut/narrowed, new taller handlebar stem, new bicycle grips, new Superfeet footbeds, new pedals, front shocks and rear shocks adjusted and rebuilt on my 2022 Giant Trance 29er. My bike feels like a different bike! The riding position improved in every way for uphill and downhill - cornering, suspension, foot stability, eyou name it! The most significant improvement is the efficiency of the bike ride - i expend less energy riding. This is a game changer and I give Guru and Tyler 5 stars!!

Ok so I now officially have over 300 miles on the new Scott road bike with a top notch fit from Tyler Vandruff at Guru Suspension, AKA Guru Bikes on 1st. Ave. I have several hard training rides along with some easy paced rides and one race. Pain free and feeling good.

I highy recommended Tyler at Guru for a fit whether you just need some simple sizing or a full blown computerized Retül fit.

Regardless of age or fitness level, whether you ride a $14,000 race bike or a $900 commuter, a good solid fit is key to a comfortable ride and not winding up with any long term joint or muscle pains. Even if you currently have some sort of issue when you ride, a good fit can with out a doubt, help with it.
